Booking, deposit & balance

You can book a trekking or tour with morocco travel be via our contact form, by phone or by e-mail. As soon as we have confirmed the tour in writing, a deposit of 25% of the total price is due.
We will inform you in writing about the payment details for the deposit and the remaining amount as soon as availability is confirmed. Special booking conditions apply for group bookings (10 or more people) - please contact us for more information.

You can either pay the balance in advance the month before your trip or pay directly through your tour driver/guide. Please let us know which option you prefer. Special conditions apply for groups of 10 or more people.

For bookings at short notice, we require a deposit as proof of trust.

Cancellation conditions, refunds & contingencies

If you wish to cancel a tour, please notify us in writing. Cancellation will take effect from the date we receive your notification. The following cancellation fees apply:
Cancellation 30 days or more before the start date: loss of deposit.

  • Cancellation between 29 and 10 days before the start date: 75% of the total price of the tour.
  • Cancellation less than 10 days before the start date: 100% of the total price of the tour.

Cancellation fees should be covered by your insurance. Please clarify this with your insurance provider.

Cancellation or changes on the part of our company may mean that occasional, unforeseen adjustments to the planned tour are necessary, for example due to adverse weather or road conditions beyond our control. We will inform you as soon as possible of any such changes, which will be made in the interests of our customers' safety. However, we accept no responsibility for such changes

Should such adverse conditions cause additional costs for accommodation, transportation, meals etc. for the customer, these costs will be borne by the customer, not by us.

We may be forced to cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control (“force majeure”). In this case, you are entitled to a refund minus any costs already incurred. You will not be entitled to any further compensation from us. If we cancel the tour for any reason other than “force majeure”, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.

Travel insurance

Travel insurance is a requirement for bookings with us. You must be adequately covered by comprehensive travel insurance that also covers medical emergencies and helicopter rescue/evacuation costs. It is your responsibility to check that all adventure sports (e.g. camel back trekking, desert trekking on foot, high altitude mountain trekking on foot, horse riding, mule riding, water sports, sandboarding/dune boarding) that you undertake on your tour are covered by your policy.

Personal responsibility & duty to provide information

  • You are obliged to bring your own medication and personal first aid equipment.
  • You must notify us in writing of any disability or medical condition that currently or in the past may affect your ability to participate in a tour with us.
  • You accept at your own risk and understand the inherent risks of outdoor and adventure travel.
  • You take on your own risk and understand the risks associated with outdoor and adventure travel.
  • You are responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings and travel documents during the tour.

General information

You accept the booking with us with the understanding that possible changes/delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, for which we accept no responsibility (as mentioned above).
