From Errachidia:
6-day Sahara trekking
This journey begins in Errachidia or Merzouga and ends in Merzouga
Day 1: Individual arrival in Errachidia or Merzouga.
We will pick you up from the airport or bus station and drive together to Tafraout Sidi Ali, where we will spend a night in traditional accommodation.
After a welcome tea, you will have time to relax or explore the surroundings and prepare your luggage for the trek until dinner.
We will also meet and get to know our camel caravan and local travel companions.
Day 2,3,4,5: Trekking through the desert.
Together with our guides and the dromedaries, we set off on our trekking adventure early in the morning after breakfast. Over the next 4 days we will be guided through the desert by the nomads, experiencing how fascinating it is to walk through this environment and how close the relationship between man, animal and nature can be. We have the option of choosing between riding and hiking. The ever-changing landscapes of the desert are unique: from rocky and mountainous sections through dry riverbeds and wide plains to sandy and thin passages and bare or palm-covered oases.
After a delicious dinner, we spend the nights either in tents (2-person tents) or under the sparkling starry sky outdoors. Early in the morning, the rising sun, accompanied by the gentle sound of lovingly brewed mint tea, wakes us up.
During our journey, we will have at least one opportunity to wash.
We will reach Ouzina Rimal on the evening of the 5th day of trekking. There we will again spend the night in beautiful accommodation.
Day 6 : Back to Merzouga and conclusion
We leave Ouzina Rimal and drive to Merzouga. After lunch together, we say goodbye and continue our journey individually.
