Our group tours are available for groups of 2 people or more. The maximum group size is 25 people Individual tours are available for individual travelers as well as for groups of up to 25 people. If your group is larger, please contact us. We will certainly find a solution.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tBest time of the year for hiking\n\t\t\t\t

We run our group hikes in the Sahara from mid-September to the end of April. In the months of September, October and April, daytime temperatures can rise above 30\u00b0C. If you book during these periods, it is important that you are aware of the heat. <\/p>\n

In December and January, the nights can be very cold, with temperatures dropping below 10\u00b0C. Therefore, it is advisable to bring a warm sleeping bag during this time.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tMeals\n\t\t\t\t

Most meals are included in the tour price. See the inclusive\/exclusive column next to the trip description. If you prefer a vegetarian or vegan diet, we are happy to accommodate this. Please let us know in advance, as well as any allergies or intolerances. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\tFitness-Level \n\t\t\t\t

You should be able to hike 4 to 6 hours per day, including uphill and downhill and through sandy terrain. However, we have a few riding camels with us, which can be ridden alternately.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tEquipment\n\t\t\t\t

It is important to wear comfortable shoes, such as hiking or trekking shoes and sandals in combination with socks. Ideally both, so you can alternate.<\/p>\n

We try to limit the luggage for our hikes to one rucksack per person (or another soft piece of luggage, no suitcases!) and an additional day rucksack. On our hikes there is the possibility to store excess luggage safely on site for the duration of the tour. We will send you a detailed packing list after you have registered.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tOur prices\n\t\t\t\t

Tents (price based on accommodation for 2 people per tent\/room), camping mattresses, transportation as indicated, all meals, mineral water, a colorful turban, camels for luggage transport, riding camels (not one for each person), experienced guide, cook<\/p>\n

Not included in the tour price are flight costs, transfers within the country (if not listed in the tour details), insurance, additional costs for single room occupancy, an optional overnight stay in a luxury camp (if offered in the itinerary), tips for driver, guide and cook, sleeping bags and unforeseen expenses due to weather conditions, injuries or flight delays or lost luggage<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tWhat else? \n\t\t\t\t

All details of the tour are flexible and can be adjusted at short notice depending on the current weather conditions and the physical condition of the group. The camp will be set up in safe locations, ideally on sandy ground to ensure comfort. However, please note that this cannot always be guaranteed.<\/p>\n

The lunch break will be held in the shade of trees where possible and may be longer or shorter depending on the temperature. This trip is an adventure and occasional changes to the itinerary may occur. Comfort during the tour is very basic, with no toilets, running water or showers available. Instead, there is the option of a quick wash at the well.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
